Raised in Hawaii, hospitality (ho’okipa) has always been at the heart of who I am - as a child, extending heartfelt hospitality to others was an expectation and, as I grew older, it became a joy and a passion. Creating authentic moments of happiness and memorable experiences, alongside sharing the magic of my island home, was exhilarating. Then, as a leader, I discovered that I love developing this same passion and commitment across teams and organizations. This made the travel & tourism industry my perfect fit.

I started my hospitality leadership career on property with Hyatt Hotels Hawaii in Food & Beverage and Events and then joined the Hilton team to expand my operational leadership experience to Rooms and Human Resources in resorts and urban locations. After holding leadership roles at five Hilton properties across three states in the U.S., I moved to the corporate team where I expanded my horizons to gain extensive global experience in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa. I spent five years on the regional learning team, six years on the Full Service brand team as Director of Brand Culture, four years as Director of Internal Communications for the company working across all brands, two years leading corporate responsibility in the Americas and most recently six years on the Luxury brand team.

My background includes leading brand culture for Hilton’s luxury and full service portfolios, designing global training programs, developing culture and communication strategies for 150,000+ team members, and managing complex, cross‑functional initiatives across regions and disciplines. I’ve partnered with properties in 100+ countries, supporting leaders in building strong service cultures, improving operational consistency, and driving measurable business results.

As I rounded the corner of three decades with Hilton, I found that I wanted to make an impact beyond one organization and see if I could extend my sense of purpose beyond my Hilton career. And, at the same time, I want to spend more time with my growing family and have more adventures out in the wild where you will most often find me on a trail or a river.

Hence, Terra Rose Hospitality Consulting was born!
